During his recent visit to the Rasina District, Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić outlined significant investment plans aimed at boosting infrastructure and development in the Brus municipality. A substantial €6 million has been earmarked for road reconstruction, and by the end of October, it is anticipated that 15 kilometers of roads will be newly paved. This initiative is part of a broader effort to enhance road access for nearly every village in the municipality, ensuring improved connectivity and transportation.
Vučić also highlighted plans for a critical water-supply project in the region. The €2 million Vignjište water-supply initiative is expected to commence by the year’s end, marking a vital step toward improving essential services for local residents. Additionally, there are ongoing discussions with a potential investor regarding the establishment of a new factory, which could potentially create about 200 new jobs, further bolstering the local economy.
In his visit to an organic fruit-processing company, President Vučić emphasized the government’s commitment to supporting local businesses. He mentioned that companies could receive financial assistance for acquiring machinery, including non-refundable funding of approximately €42,000. Furthermore, Development Fund loans with fixed interest rates of 2–2.5 percent are available, providing favorable conditions for business expansion and modernization.
Looking ahead, President Vučić announced his plans to attend the opening of a new robot factory in Šabac on August 29. This event signifies another milestone in Serbia’s push towards technological advancement and industrial growth, reflecting the country’s broader strategy to foster innovation and create new employment opportunities.
